This [Los Angeles](https://www.baycitiesconstruction.com/areas-we-serve/los-angeles/) [bathroom remodel](https://www.baycitiesconstruction.com/our-work/bathroom-remodel/) was done with love for a very special person! When Mrs. Laster first called me to price out her [bathroom](https://www.baycitiesconstruction.com/our-work/bathroom-remodel/) she was very concerned about safety.

Mrs. Laster is a sweet woman in her golden years.  She was worried about trip hazard of entering and exiting her [bathtub/shower](https://www.baycitiesconstruction.com/blog/Bathroom-Shower-Remodel). She wanted to remove her bathtub and replace it with a [shower](https://www.baycitiesconstruction.com/blog/Bathroom-Shower-Remodel) and built in a bench. The new unit required a [hand shower](https://www.baycitiesconstruction.com/blog/Bathroom-Shower-Remodel), hand bar and [non-slip floor](https://www.baycitiesconstruction.com/blog/Choosing-The-Right-Tile-For-Your-Home). I remodeled her daughter’s home about 2 years prior and we incorporated a few of those modifications in her [design](https://www.baycitiesconstruction.com/our-work/interior-design/). Together we picked out a very nice porcelain [tile](https://www.baycitiesconstruction.com/our-work/tile-work/) priced within her budget. She got the works, a new [vanity](https://www.baycitiesconstruction.com/blog/Bathroom-Vanities), storage cabinet over the toilet, [paint](https://www.baycitiesconstruction.com/our-work/painting/) and a new Panasonic extractor fan. This fan is very quiet. You will see that for a very modest price this [bathroom ](https://www.baycitiesconstruction.com/our-work/bathroom-remodel/)looks….fantastic! Mrs. Laster is a special person and it gives me great satisfaction knowing that she is proud of her new [bathroom](https://www.baycitiesconstruction.com/our-work/bathroom-remodel/)!

We created a [video ](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nte5ZEdK8rw&feature=autoplay&list=ULLVgR3093Egc&playnext=7)from pictures taken during the construction process. Check it out...what do you think?
