Bay Cities Construction tripled the size of this bathroom to include a large walk-in shower with floor-to-ceiling tile.

The Kimmel family of Torrance, CA hired Bay Cities Construction to design & build a new master bathroom. Our team transformed it from a 30 sqft bathroom into a 90 sqft master bathroom.

Originally the bathroom was less than 30 sqft in size, it was tiny, in fact, the shower was only 26 inches wide. The owners hated taking a shower, and after years of suffering, they called our team to help redesign their bathroom. Luckily the house featured two large and oddly-placed linen closets that we could absorb to nearly triple the size of the bathroom.

We completely reframed the bathroom to accommodate the new footprint and make way for a new walk-in shower that measures 36'x60'. We installed a rainhead shower and handheld wand system.

The new shower features beautiful blue tile from floor to ceiling that gives the shower a spa feeling. The bathroom also featured a floating vanity and a floating (in-wall) toilet. This bathroom received all new electrical upgrades, led lighting, and a powerful Broan exhaust fan.

Bay Cities Construction provided Interior Design Services, Architectural Plan services, City Permit services, and Construction/Installation Services.
