Deck Replacement: Suspended Balcony Decks in Redondo Beach, CA webp

Bay Cities Construction replaced eight (8) suspended balcony decks in this condo complex in Redondo Beach, CA.

The Condo Unit HOA hired Bay Cities Construction to design, engineer, and replace eight existing balcony decks that had extensive water damage.

This older condo complex was built in the 1960's and featured wood balcony decks that had aged badly. The balconies had not been maintained properly and suffered from water damage, dry rot, and some termite damage. The balconies featured a unique wood bridge that stretches across a 50-foot span.

Our design team recreated this unique design with new, heavy, LVL-Beams that span across two structures to create a bridge system. The new balconies were built with new Trex Composite Decking slats to extend its longevity.

Bay Cities Construction provided Architectural & Engineering Plan services, City Submittal & Permit services, Project Management services, and Construction/Installation Services. In the years since we've helped several condo owners with a variety of kitchen & bathroom remodels.

Bay Cities Construction is pleased to have successfully completed the project for the Condo Unit HOA by designing and replacing eight existing balcony decks with a unique and durable design.

We take pride in providing high-quality services that are tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients.
