Bay Cities Construction replaced over fifteen (15) squares of shingle and wood shake roof in Torrance, CA.

The owner of this home hire Bay Cities Construction to design and build their new open-concept kitchen and also hired our team to install a new roof while we remodeled their home. This older 1950's home had a wood shake roof at the front and featured asphalt shingles at the back portion of the home. All of it had to be replaced with a brand new 'Cool Roof' shingle roof. Some portions of eaves and fascia board were replaced with new T&G Plywood roof deck.

Two (2)  Velux skylights and two (2) Velux Sun Tunnel (solar tubes) were installed. Asbestos was found in the mastic (construction glue) used in the roof. It was removed by a certified third-party remediation company.

Bay Cities Construction provided City Submittal & Permit services, and Roofing/Installation Services for this lovely family.
