These balconies had been neglected for a couple of years, but luckily they had not suffered from any significant leaks. These two balconies were a perfect candidate for the MC System, a strong, yet flexible waterproofing system, from Life Specialty Coatings.

The MC system is the best option for concrete balconies that do no require structural repairs, just a waterproofing membrane replacement. This fiber-reinforced deck system uses a three-step system that includes a fiber lath, a modified base coat, a modified slurry coat, and is topped off with a decorative finish.
