Bay Cities Construction removed two walls to create an open concept kitchen.
The Muise family hired Bay Cities Construction to transform their cramped kitchen into a kitchen worthy of their neighbor's envy.
Our firm was referred by our friends at 3.1 Development Inc of Torrance, CA, with whom we've done several kitchen & bath projects with. The homeowners came to us with approved plans, but still needed help with interior design and a 'firm bid' to get their project started. Wendy, our Senior Interior Designer, helped the homeowners select all their finishes like flooring, cabinet layout and colors, countertops, backsplash tile, and interior paint selection.
Two load-bearing between the kitchen & living space were removed to make way for a new 10-foot island. The old pine cabinets made way for new custom cabinets with tons of storage and new GE Monogram appliances. These homeowners love to bake and entertain company, so this new floorplan is perfect to accommodate a new double oven with plenty of counter space for a buffet. We also installed a new pantry with lights and obscure glass door. This home also received some exterior upgrades, our team of roofers repaired and installed a new roof with 'cool roof' reflective shingles.
Want to see us in action? In the video above you can see how amazing this kitchen turned out. That's why they call us open layout experts. We are thrilled to have worked for this family. Bay Cities Construction provided Interior Design Services, Plan & Permit services, Project Management services, New Roof Install, and Construction/Remodeling Services.
