The Koci family selected Bay Cities Construction to help them renovate and remodel their condo in Redondo Beach, CA before it's listed for sale.

As the original owners after this unit was built in the 1980s, they moved out and began to rent out the home in the 1990's and have been relatively untouched since then; a true blast from the past. When the tenants moved out last year it was time to give the condominium a refreshed look to get it ready for sale. Our team helped the customer make 'value-add' upgrades to make sure their listing fetched top dollar. 

This two-on-a-lot home was a true time capsule, you were instantly transported to the 90s as soon as you stepped foot inside. But that only meant that this two-story, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home was a blank canvas. The owners lived outside of the state and only came to Redondo Beach a few times a year so every consultation with our designers was vital; they placed so much trust in our team to help them make selections that are stylish and affordable. Our team worked with the owners to give the home a contemporary look that is appealing to potential buyers. We accommodated our customers by collaborating with them virtually and over the phone from the comfort of their homes in Nevada. 

We first began by installing new SPC (Rustic Haze from In.Id) floors throughout the entire house and a fresh coat of paint from Sherwin Williams. This home has excellent flow so the footprint of the house was left untouched, the kitchen was completely gutted and new maple cabinets with white shaker doors were installed. This kitchen features Statuario White Quartz countertops from MSI, and is paired with a glossy tile (Mesmerist Charm from Daltile) to give it some contrast. This new kitchen also received brand new Kitchenaid appliances and a Sharp Drawer Microwave. The master bathroom was redesigned with a new walk-in shower with floor-to-ceiling tile (Vertuo Mestro by Daltile) and a brand new prefab double-vanity with plenty of counter space.
