Bay Cities Construction remodeled this beautiful home in the Valmonte neighborhood of Palos Verdes Estates, CA.

The homeowners first purchased this property in 2019 and knew they wanted to bring the property to modern standards. Our main objective was to improve the open space, allow more natural light, install a new insulated roof, and  renovate a. kitchen & 2.5 baths

Our designers worked with the owners to creat a balanced mix of indoor & outdoor space, giving them more than plenty of area to entertain friends & family. The exterior needed a refresh, so our team drafted a plan to submit to the PVHA Art Jury (Palos Verdes Homes Association) which maintains strict design guidelines for the city. We worked diligently to accommodate everything on the homeowners wishlist and stay within PVHA design rules.

This 50's built home had a massive indoor bbq grill that was removed to make much better use of interior space. A Velux Skylight was installed to allow much more natural light in this great room. All three bedrooms were completely renovated with new drywall, upgraded electrical outlets, new lighting, and new floors throughout the entire house. Both bathrooms were renovated with new tiled backsplash, new tile floors, and brand new custom vanities featuring textured panels from CLEAF S.p.A. This home is situated on a hill that has spectacular views of the ocean and renowned Palos Verdes Golf Club course, making it the perfect candidate for brand new windows and doors by Pella. A brand new clay-tile roof with SIP (Structural Insulated Panel) panels was installed, the insuated panels will help keep the home cool during the summers which tend to get "muggy" in homes with vaulted ceilings.
